Abstract/Preface

Fungi are abundant in the environment. Many fungi cause different human infections. Animals like dogs, cat and bamboo rat play decisive roles in propagating and spreading fungal infections. Many birds also harbour fungi in their fecal matter. Cryptococcus spp. which can be recovered very commonly from the fecal matter in pigeon faeces and Histoplasma spp. and in chicken faeces are examples. These things should be regarded as very important from the viewpoint of one health.
